Beans for Sale

One lovely fall Friday afternoon, Kate decided to try her luck with a Pinto Bean stand. She gathered a cup full of pinto beans and made a sign. The sign is the best. It says,

Grow a Bean
It makes a tree
2 for $1
4 for $2
6 for $3
8 for $4
10 for $5

There weren't a lot of pinto bean takers, so she later made a sign for a carnival in the backyard and started handing out tickets. In no time, we had a yard full of neighborhood friends and Kate was in heaven running the show.
