Kate's second grade class spent a lot of time learning about butterflies this month. In fact, they were each given two caterpillars to take home and learn about the life stages of a butterfly firsthand. We watched and worried as they transitioned through each stage and were grateful when our Painted Lady butterflies emerged! Once the butterflies hatched, Kate and her friend, Isabelle, had a great time making a home for the butterflies.
