Kate started school today. It was a big day because for the first time, she got to pick out her own outfit. She sparkled from head to toe.
We walked to school with the neighbors.
Saw some of our good friends.
Found our new desk in a new school.
Walked with the walking group home.
And....apparently, we are changing our name to Katy. At first, they had everything down as Katherine. I told the teacher that she went by Kate. On her desk was Kate, on her folder was Katie, and on her locker was Katy. I guess there was some confusion! When she saw her locker, she said, "I didn't know you could spell Katy with a 'y'. I like that!" We'll see if it sticks.
